About USEA

We believe we’re stronger together, which is why the UTeach STEM Educators Association (USEA) was created—to connect universities, school districts, teachers, nonprofits, and businesses with the mission to prepare and support extraordinary STEM teachers.

We are a network of 55 universities preparing outstanding secondary STEM teachers across the country.

We are a network of 700+ university faculty, staff, and master teachers working to prepare and support excellent STEM teachers with a grounding in inquiry- and project-based learning.

We are a network of 8,300+ UTeach alumni. We are STEM graduates prepared to teach STEM fields in ways that truly connect with students. We stay in the classroom longer, 69% of us teach in high-needs schools, and our students do better on state content exams.

We are a network of schools, districts, and for-profit and nonprofit organizations, striving together for STEM literacy for all.
