USEA Board Nominations

We are seeking nominees for vice president/president-elect and for one (1) member-at-large spot. Learn more about executive board positions.

The deadline for Fall 2019 nominations is September 30, 2019.

Selection Process

USEA’s Leadership Development Committee will accept board nominations from individuals at dues-paying USEA programs or alumni of any UTeach program through September 30. The committee will review the nominations based on the criteria and present a slate of candidates to the USEA president by November 1. Next, the slate will be presented to the membership for approval in December 2019.

About the Executive Board

The USEA board is the governing body of USEA and is responsible for establishing policy and setting direction for the association. It meets three times per year (face-to-face and via web conference). The board consists of the president, vice president, past president, secretary-treasurer, and three members-at-large. At least one member of the board should be a Master Teacher, and at least one member should be an alumnus of a UTeach program. See the current Executive Board.
